This month’s feature model is the beautiful DJ Leng Yein from Malaysia. We got a chance to shoot with her last year at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and we’re excited to show you her exclusive photographs that have not been released to this day. Our feature car is a 1,065 horsepower beast of a Toyota Supra nicknamed “Quicksilver” built and sponsored by Wicked C.A.S.
We have a plethora of event coverage thanks to our sub media partners. Keep It City went out and brought back some awesome photo and video coverage of the SPOCOM Show in San Francisco. W-NK Lyfe’s photo and video coverage of Raceworz makes me wish I was from the West Coast to experience this event first hand. JDM City provided us plenty of photo coverage from the Fresh Meet Spring Bash, Spring Nationals at Raceway Park, the Liberty VIP BBQ Meet, and Street Wars Round 2 that was also held at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. Finally, we have included our own photo and video coverage of the 2013 SEMA Show and Autocon Los Angeles, as well as photo coverage of the 88Rotors NSX & S2000 Meet. On the cover of this month’s e-Issue, we have a 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, labeled “Dark Shadow,” delivering a little over 550 horsepower to the wheels. Additionally blessing this month’s cover, with her beauty, is the gorgeous Lisa Song Sutton. E-Spec Industries, one of the local tuning shops we’ve worked closely with here in New York, hosted a Dyno Day last month where we got some great photos and videos including a moment where a turbocharged BMW M3 blew one of its rear tires just as it threw down a little over 860 horsepower on the dyno. We’ve also decided to use E-Spec Industries in our new tuning shop spotlights where tuning shops submit one of their customer’s vehicles and a little about the car that they have built and tuned. This month they have chosen to feature a 2011 Mitsubishi Evolution X, called Gorilla
X,” putting down 581 horsepower on the dyno, recording a 10.8 second @130 mph quarter mile passes, and is daily Driven. Spocom Japan Town photo and video event coverage was provided by our friends at Keep It City, based out of California and the Import Face Off New Hampshire coverage
was provided by yours truly. On September 14th, we made it out to Resorts World Casino NYC to set up a display and get coverage of the Super Tuner Show. JDM City was nice enough to supply us with video coverage from Import Expo down in Atlantic City, NJ from the same day. Additionally, the Street Wheelz Custom Car and Bike Show took place on Long Island, NY and we have that coverage as well. Global Rallycross had two racing events since the last e-Issue (Bristol Motor Speedway and the X-Games in Los Angeles. Formula Drift had their 6th Round take place at Texas Motor Speedway and we have their Insider Episode-12 video for your viewing pleasure. Real Street Performance provided us with a great video from Honda Day Orlando. Finally, from overseas, we have a video from the Drift Allstars Round 5 -
Battle of the Iron Curtain 2 race in Hungary.

We have some awesome local car meet coverage from the Fresh Meet Summer Bash and the HIN SkyPrint Media Open House. The racing coverage in this month's e-Issue is from Global Rallycross New Hampshire and the Toyoya Grand Prix at Long Beach, CA. While at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas last year, I attended a seminar that talked about young enthusiasts and are they disappearing. The seminar brought up some very powerful topics and some great information that I summarized in an article in this e-Issue. Our feature model is the beautiful Aja ChaChahnsy who was also at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas with Maxx Tuning Magazine last year conducting interviews with vendors and exhibitors along with the gorgeous Helen Mei who will be featured in the following e-Issue of Maxx Tuning Magazine. JULY 2012

We’ve put together an interesting issue for you this month. We’ve decided to lead off with an Acura TSX all JDM out, provided by Giancarlo Pawelec from Auto Moto Foto. We will also be featuring local tuner shops, from all over, in all future issues and feature some of the projects they are working on. This month we chose to feature E-Spec Industries based out of Deer Park, NY. We also have some event coverage from Formula Drift - Streets of Long Beach, Hot Import Nights - Pomona, the Motion Sport Compact Auto Show & Expo, and WEKFEST - Long Beach. Additionally, we have also thrown in a couple of press releases that may peak your interest.

This December e-issue is packed with very exciting features. Our main feature car is a 673HP Mitsubishi Evo X GSR running on a stock* engine management system and fueled by E-85. The second feature car came to light at the 2010 SEMA Show as were invited to attend the unveiling of the 620 horsepower
Audi ABT R8 GT-R. This massively-tuned piece of German engineering is so fanscinating, we could not wait to publish its release in our end of the year e-Issue. As always, the beautiful MTM Girls must grace our pages every issue. This month they are graced by the beautiful Mala Thong and Susana Ruiz Christmas came early, fellas). Don’t forget to friend request them on their social sites. Maxx Tuning Magazine has partnered with to bring you advanced tuning technical features every issue. This month, the guys from E-Tunez talk about “Cold Starts” and that comes just in time for this freezing weather we have in New York right now. I can’t wait to go to Orlando for the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in a week or so. I need warmth. We also have the detailed results and coverage from Xtreme Drift Circuit finale in Phoenix, Formula Drift championship in Irwindale, and Redline Time Attack’s Sonoma & Fontana coverage. Additionally, we have coverage of the BABE Expo, thrown by BABE Blvd, in Hollywood, California.
For the 50 pages we have dedicated to the SEMA Show coverage, we have broken the feature into parts. In addition to the regular show covereage, we have the Models of 2010 SEMA, the After Parties, and New Products Showcase sections.

This month’s issue contains a few double features. We will continue to publish two feature cars and two feature models every month, but there were also two Formula Drift events and two Redline Time attack events since our last e-Issue. So if you flip through the pages and see two FD or RTA features, just remember that they’re two separate events and not an error caused by lack of sleep or dodging tornados in New York City. Our first feature car is an 8th Generation Honda Civic Si that had a K24 heart transplant with a few extra internal goodies and tuned by RPM NYC. Now you may say, “What makes this car so special to grab the main cover and is only pushing 285WHP?” Well, you’re just going to have to read the feature to realize the kind of tuning that was performed. Our “In the Spotlight” feature is a 390WHP Nissan NX2000 powered by an SR20DET and tuned by the Junior Mahabir Racing Garage. We’re also going to take a closer look at our two feature models Tacorah Chernise from New York, and Lily Figuera from California. Our Tech
Editor and head of the Power Division of RPM NYC, Hogan Jeun, has written his in depth feature discussing Variable Valve Timing from most of the major manufacturer platforms.

Inside this September e-Issue of Maxx Tuning Magazine, we’ll take a close look at a 535 rwhp ‘93 RX-7 which has been tuned by KDR Performance, has a monster port job, and water/methanol injection. We also have the gorgeous and beautiful models Jessica Valente and Tida Tanha. Hogan, from RPM NYC, is also going to share a little of his knowledge of piggyback ecu’s. Finally, we have some car show coverage of HIN/NOPI New York, RPM Chicago, and the REMIX Show New Jersey (with the XDC racing coverage).
